Sliced Turkey with Autumn Mushrooms and Cream
Introduction
Turkey and Mushroom Slices is a comforting dish that showcases seasonal ingredients. Easy to make, it's a great option for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 500 g turkey (boneless breasts or thighs)
- 250 g of button mushrooms or porcini mushrooms
- 2 shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200 ml of crème fraîche
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Meat preparation : Cut the turkey into thin strips. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cooking the mushrooms : In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the minced shallots and minced garlic. Sauté until tender. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown.
- Adding the turkey : Add the turkey strips to the pan. Cook over medium heat until cooked through.
- Making the sauce : Add the crème fraîche and mustard, mix well. Let simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Adjust the seasoning.
- Serving : Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley, accompanied by rice or mashed potatoes.
