Pear and Autumn Spice Tart: a Sweet Delight

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry
- 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml of crème fraîche
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare the crust
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spread the shortcrust pastry in a tart mold and prick the bottom with a fork.Prepare the pears
In a bowl, mix the pear slices with the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.Mix the filling
In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the crème fraîche and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.Assemble the pie
Arrange the pears on the shortcrust pastry, then pour the cream mixture on top.Bake the pie
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the topping is golden and set. Let cool before serving.Serve
